Job Description
Operations Executive assists the Operations Controller with the management of operational and logistics duties as directed by Project Leads for various project sites including managing resources, work procedures, service contracts, and work incidents on site. He is required to implement and recommend operation plans to improve work processes and service quality for the organization. He will work in an office environment or be stationed at sites and perform site visits when necessary. He will communicate with relevant stakeholders and clients as part of his in performing operational duties:
Responsibilities:
- The day-to-day allocation of site manpower and tasks.
- Understand worker’s training standards.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are delivered to the site in accordance with to approve material list.
- Ensure that works are moving according to the project timeline with given resources.
- Checking and verifying completed works are in good order.
- Checking the equipment and inventory stocks in alignment with the internal inventory system.
- Ensure the Operations and Logistics adhere to safety measures during operations.
- Assist in budget planning for operations and logistics-related matters.
- Compile and analyze relevant data and propose recommendations for successful and efficient logistics operations on site.
- Work closely with Operations Controller
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Controller.
Qualifications:
- At least Diploma level.
- More than 5 years plus experience in hands-on operational and logistic matters.
- Task-Oriented.
- Willingness to learn.
- Organised, responsive, and approachable.
- Able to interact with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to plan, manage workers and find solutions to resolve workers’ issues on site.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations in accordance with the Ministry of Manpower.
- Independent and positive working attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Able to operate in-house inventory process.
- Knowledge of inventory systems preferred.
- Able to work independently and also in a team.
- Valid Driving licence in Class 3.
- Local is preferred.
